Contact DonkaDonka Miteva studied choral conducting at the State Academy of Music in Sofia and orchestral conducting at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Dusseldorf.
After graduating in 2007, she was appointed conductor and choir director at the State Opera in Munster. Since 2011, she has served as Artistic Director and Conductor of Collegium Musicum Berlin, working with the four classical ensembles at the Free and Technical Universities Berlin.
Her work has taken her to ensembles and festivals across Europe, South Africa, Panama, China, and beyond. She also teaches conducting at the University of Arts in Berlin and is a member of the World Choir Council.
